This is a narrated tour around Lake Tahoe and Squaw Valley scheduled every Tuesday, Spring, Summer and Fall. The tour is very informative and interactive. Besides our standard photo stops, the tour includes a 90 min. stop at the Boatworks Mall in Tahoe City to check out local merchandise and have lunch at one of the waterfront restaurants or sandwich shops (not included).

8:00am Marriott Resorts – Red curb pullout  on Hwy 50-Heavenly gondola
8:05am Golden Nugget Casino – main lobby area
8:10am Hilton Vacation Club – bus stop on  Ski Run Blvd.

Around the Lake Tour is a narrated tour on a 27 passenger shuttle bus with big windows and comfortable interior to make your experience the most enjoyable. The driver/tour guide is a long time local and can answer any questions you might have to really get acquainted with the Lake Tahoe region.

Tour starts from 3 locations in S. Lake Tahoe. First part of the tour takes us through the South Shore towards Emerald Bay ( first stop ). The next stop is at the Truckee River bridge in Tahoe City ( Northwest Lake Tahoe ), next we visit the Village at Squaw Valley, the site of 1960 Olympics. After that, we go to the center of Tahoe City for lunch ( not included ) After lunch, tour continues around the North Shore and East Shore on the way back to S. Lake Tahoe. We do make a final photo stop at the East Shore Vista Point – Logan Shoals All stops other then lunch stop are about 20-30 minutes.

Unfortunately there is no more free parking in S. Lake Tahoe. If you’re not staying at one of the three hub hotels, we suggest you park at the Golden Nugget casino which has the cheapest parking at $25per day ( rate is subject to change )

The Boatworks Mall is conveniently located at the water’s edge on the north shore of Lake Tahoe in Tahoe City. As Lake Tahoe’s only premier enclosed two-story mall we offer unique shops and restaurants. You will find interesting merchandise for the most discriminating shopper and items you seldom see at home. Enjoy the views from our observation deck and two waterfront restaurants or take a lake cruise right from our back door.
